Human
Design is usually discussed in terms of aesthetics — colors, typography, layout. But the most powerful design decisions are behavioral.
How does this interface make someone feel? Does it reduce friction or add it? Does it respect the user's cognitive load or abuse it?
The same principle applies to operational design. A well-designed process removes decision fatigue. It creates clarity at every step. It makes the right action the easiest action.
Great operations, like great design, should feel invisible. When systems work well, people can focus on what matters. Nobody notices a good process — they just notice the absence of frustration.
When you design for human connection — in products, in teams, in customer journeys — you design for trust. And trust is the one thing that compounds faster than any metric you can measure.
